Skylit 2.13.0

Choose a tag to compare

@sachasayan sachasayan released this 11 Oct 16:26

Settings opens in a lightbox with left-side navigation, a fixed header and a single scrolling editor. Closing it preserves the current screen and focus; Android Back and idle handling follow the same behavior.

Gallery thumbnails now have trash buttons. Excluded photos stay out of the gallery, Overview and slideshows across Check now, cache pruning and app restart. Undo and restoration remain available in Settings. Emails are never deleted.

Retention choices:

  • Last 7, 30, 90 or 180 days, with a separate 5–50-photo capacity.
  • Last 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 eligible photos regardless of age.
  • Default remains 30 photos from the last 30 days. Excluded photos do not consume visible slots; storage remains bounded.

Validation: 54 JavaScript tests, 14 Python tests, 31 browser checks, 44 isolated Android PhotoStore checks and 14 physical UI checks on the final installed D156 / Android 12 / WebView 95 APK. All nine retention choices, exclusion, Undo, restore and app-restart persistence passed. Original preferences, mailbox configuration, cached pictures, calendars, HOME and the signing key were preserved. Privacy and Gitleaks checks passed. This normal APK has empty household configuration.

Live mail Check now reported an error; a successful live refresh/new household import was not verified. Earlier weather/calendar refresh failures are also unresolved. Exclusion stayed intact; same-file reimport rejection passed isolated Android tests.

Skylit 2.12.2

Choose a tag to compare

@sachasayan sachasayan released this 11 Oct 15:03

Skylit 2.12.2 refines the dashboard for landscape screens and simplifies its everyday controls.

  • Adaptive 16:9 and 16:10 layouts keep Overview and the core Calendar on one screen.
  • Photos has a full-width library and minimal icon-only slideshow controls. Source selection, playback preferences and picture choices live in Settings.
  • Calendar keeps a simple month and selected-date agenda. Calendar management and inviter review have focused Settings views.
  • Optional Household notes, shopping lists, countdowns and timers; quiet hours/privacy pause; service recovery; and non-secret display preference transfer.
  • Configurable email-photo checks and an optional exact sender rule, with private bounded storage and a direct erase/disconnect path.

The APK uses empty household defaults, excludes synthetic fixtures and preserves existing app data when installed as an upgrade with the same signing key. Package com.wesbos.homehq, version code 21.

Validation: 53 JavaScript tests and 14 Python tests passed. The refinement passed 28 full browser checks, followed by seven focused checks for the final controls. Screenshots use synthetic data. Source/history/APK privacy checks and Gitleaks 8.30.1 history/source scans found no issues. APK v1/v2/v3 signatures verify; built with JDK 17.0.20.1 and Android SDK 34 tools.

Physical-frame upgrade and WebView 95 acceptance remain pending, with device testing deferred at the owner's request. Real mail import, calendar refresh, Home controls and unattended behavior require on-device verification.
