This is the initial release of the MCQ Generator Anki add-on. It lets you automatically create multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from vocabulary cards using AI-generated sentences and smart distractors.

Requirements:

  • Anki version: 2.1.66+

  • Custom note type: MCQ Basic with fields:

    • Word
    • SentenceBlank
    • OptionA / OptionB / OptionC / OptionD
    • Answer

Installation & Usage:

  1. Add the “MCQ Basic” note type (see README).

  2. Select one or more cards in the browser and choose:

    • Edit → Generate MCQ (selected notes)
    • or Tools → Generate MCQ (whole deck)

  3. Review and sync to AnkiDroid/AnkiMobile to practice!
