SceneSpeak 1.1

Runs on every Fire TV stick Amazon's automated testing covers. Compatible on 4 of 4: Fire TV Stick (Gen 2, Fire OS 5), Fire TV Stick 4K (Fire OS 6), Fire TV Stick (3rd Gen, Fire OS 7) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen, Fire OS 8).

Which file

• SceneSpeak-1.1.apk — 21 MB, lighter copy of the film. Start with this one.
• SceneSpeak-1.1-full-quality.apk — 67 MB, the film at 480p.

Install on a Fire TV or Android TV emulator

adb connect <fire-tv-ip>:5555      # skip for an emulator
adb install SceneSpeak-1.1.apk
adb shell am start -n com.saifbrand.scenespeak/.MainActivity

On the remote: OK / centre turns description on and off · play/pause pauses the film and the voice · left/right skip 30 seconds.

Changes since 1.0

• Requires Fire OS 5 or later (Android 5.1+); 1.0 needed Fire OS 7.
• A shrunk release build that fits upload limits.
• A clear message instead of a black screen if a build has no film.
