AgentCrew 0.22.0
Released October 16, 2026
This release adds richer delegation workflows, safer cancellation, Git worktree tools, and request-scoped YOLO approvals.
Highlights
- Delegates can ask the source agent for clarification. Delegated agents can ask focused questions and receive answers from an isolated source-agent context, without prompting the user or changing the source conversation.
- Follow delegate progress in the console. A shared live panel shows parallel delegates’ responses, thinking, and tool activity, and retains a concise preview until the runs complete.
- Use Git worktrees for code changes. Agents can create, list, and close linked worktrees. Closing is limited to clean linked worktrees, and preserves their branches.
- Stop ongoing work more reliably. Cancellation now closes agent streams, cleans up delegated resources, and terminates command processes—including child processes—without blocking the event loop.
- Enable YOLO approvals for one request. Users can approve remaining tool calls for the current request without changing persistent or session-wide approval settings.
Other improvements and fixes
- Added first-response timeouts and bounded retries for empty agent responses.
- Excluded collaboration tools from delegate clones at registration, preventing nested delegation and transfers.
- Improved the console ask flow so cancellation and UI errors restore input safely.
- Escaped dynamic prompt text in console inputs to prevent markup from being interpreted as formatting.
- Updated the
firecrawl-anydocdependency to0.2.4.
