Developer Experience Improvements (Epic 20)

Faster Workflow:

• Profile aliases — type rafctl run w instead of rafctl run work
  • Exact match first, then prefix match
  • Works with all commands: run, auth, profile, etc.

Debug & Troubleshooting:

• --verbose / -v flag for debug output
  • Shows config paths, environment variables, auth mode
  • Helps diagnose setup issues

Shell Integration:

• rafctl env <profile> command for environment export
  • Use eval $(rafctl env work) to set up your shell
  • Allows manual tool invocation with rafctl config

Safety:

• --dry-run flag for destructive operations
  • rafctl profile remove work --dry-run shows what would be deleted
  • rafctl auth logout work --dry-run shows what would be cleared

Examples

# Use profile aliases
rafctl run w              # Instead of 'rafctl run work'
rafctl auth login p       # Instead of 'rafctl auth login personal'

# Debug mode
rafctl run work --verbose
