Sightline for Fire TV (Vega OS), built September 4, 2026 from the public repository.

Install on the Vega Virtual Device:

vega virtual-device start
vega device install-app --packagePath vega-player_aarch64.vpkg
vega device launch-app --app com.sightlinewip.player.main

Or in one step: vega run-app vega-player_aarch64.vpkg com.sightlinewip.player.main -d VirtualDevice.

The caption tracks, companion files and HLS renditions are served from Amazon CloudFront (docs/aws.md); if the network is unavailable the app plays its packaged copy. Use the remote: Play starts the current scene, the Captions pill opens the sheet with the three modes, Back returns to standard playback from anywhere. Builds for armv7 and x86_64 devices are attached as well.
