🔥 Emergency Button is now available as a standalone Windows executable!

What's new?

• Fully packaged .exe file — no need to install Python or dependencies.
• Configurable hotkey and file path settings with a modern UI using customtkinter.
• Runs silently in the background, instantly opens your “work” file when you press the hotkey.
• Saves your settings in a JSON config file for easy updates.

How to use?

1. Download emergency_button.exe from the Release assets.
2. Run it (preferably as Administrator for hotkey support).
3. Configure your desired file and hotkey.
4. Hide the window and press the hotkey whenever you need to “pretend working.”

Notes

• Windows Defender or antivirus may warn about the executable; it’s a false positive.
• If hotkey doesn’t work, try running as Administrator.
