Lumen 2.0.0 (89a0104)

Lumen 2.0 is a clean-up release. The whole look now runs on one shared set of colours, glass, sizes and timings, and the slow screens are smoother.

New in 2.0

• Settings lists are smoother. Up and Down used to drop to about 16 frames a second; each row now moves on its own.
• Left and Right along the dock are smoother. Each move used to redraw the whole glass bar.
• Back from an app, the home screen stays where you left it. Before, it jumped back to the start, then redrew the rows 4 seconds later.
• The Settings rows and the wallpaper categories use the same faint glass as the Guide.
• The wallpaper categories are one bar. A pill slides to the one you pick, and the pictures change once you stop moving.
• Focused rows and pills grow by the same small amount everywhere. Settings and folder tiles lift like the home tiles.
• Text uses one set of sizes and weights across the app. The picture caption is a little dimmer.
• The clock, date, weather, night dimming and dark mode all update together, on the minute and when you come back from an app.
• Settings > Home > Wallpaper captions turns the picture's title and credit, or the video's place, on or off. It is on to start with.
• App icons now load on webOS 6. Before, the TV refused to read them all at once. Thanks to Juan Rüsch.

Since 1.1.0

• Settings has new pages for each screen, and you can set up Immich in Settings > Photos.
• The screensaver can be LG's, your photos, or off. The photo screensaver can mix sources, such as Recent and Favourites.
• Weather widgets for the home screen and the screensaver, small or large, with the chance of rain each hour.
• The wallpaper can dim always, at night, or while the dock is hidden.
• You can add the App Store to the home screen.
• Control Center: Restart turns the TV back on, not to standby.
• The app icon is a white house on black.

• Settings has new pages: Home Screen, Wallpaper, Screensaver, Appearance, Photos, Language and Region, and System. Apps, Sources and Channels stay where they were.
• The weather location is now in Language and Region, and Date and weather is in Home Screen.
• Each weather widget is one setting: Off, Small or Large.
• The Wallpaper page shows only the settings for the wallpaper type you chose.
• You can set up Immich in Settings > Photos. Type the server address and the API key, then choose Test connection.
• Settings > Screensaver lets you choose LG's screensaver, your photos, or no screensaver at all. Off needs the latest watch.sh on the TV.
• The photo screensaver can mix several sources, for example Recent and Favourites.
• Liquid glass dock and the Homebrew app list setting are removed from Settings.
• The glass uses only the live blur now, so the app is a little smaller.

• Photo screensaver: it starts after a set time, or from Art mode in the Control Center. It can dim the backlight.

• Open apps: a dot above each app that is still open, and a faster return from other apps.
