ByteBuddy is a Java-based chatbot inspired by the Java mascot Duke. This release features a graphical JavaFX interface for task management, allowing users to:

  • Add and manage tasks: Todo, Deadline, Event

  • Mark and unmark tasks as done

  • Delete tasks easily

  • Search tasks by keyword

  • Access a built-in help command for guidance

  • Load sample data on first run for a smooth start

This release includes a self-contained JAR (bytebuddy-all.jar) bundled with all dependencies, so you can run the application directly with:

java -jar bytebuddy.jar

Notes:

  • Requires JDK 17 or higher.

  • Designed primarily for GUI usage; CLI run() is deprecated.

  • For development or source code, see the repository.
