Switch Console 0.31.0 — macOS Apple silicon + Intel, Linux x64 + arm64, and Windows x64.

What's new

Added

  • Telemetry extended to the remaining user events — creating/removing an agent, starting/ending a session (with which button, and whether a person, the app, or a remote host started it — never the room, prompt or host), adding/removing a server, installing/updating/removing an agent's CLI, creating/deleting rooms, sign-in/out, connecting a messaging app, remote-host setup, managed-server start/stop, and the update check/download/install. Still opt-in and off by default; turning sharing on is recorded, turning it off is not.

Changed

  • Local-server mode now bundles and pulls switch-core 0.21.0 (was 0.19.0).
  • Third-party dependency updates.

Fixed

  • Retrying a failed session setup now reports whether it worked (it previously left the session stuck on "setting up"). Deleting an agent no longer leaves its sessions counted as running. An un-archived session can end again. A remote agent whose host refuses the connection says so specifically. Installing an update is no longer counted as both success and failure.

macOS: download the .dmg for your Mac — switch-console-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), switch-console-x64.dmg for Intel. Not sure which you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. Open it and drag Switch Console to Applications. Both are signed and notarized with SandboxAQ's Developer ID — they open without a Gatekeeper bypass, and both receive in-app updates.

Linux (x64 and arm64): match your dpkg --print-architecture. Download the .AppImage (chmod +x then run), the .deb (sudo apt install ./<file>.deb) or the .rpm (sudo dnf install ./<file>.rpm). Linux builds are unsigned.

Windows (x64): run switch-console-x64.exe, or use switch-console-x64.msi for an msiexec install. Both are Authenticode signed as SandboxAQ, so no SmartScreen bypass is needed, and in-app updates verify that signature before installing.
