Five days after 8.4.7, and this release is not about features at all. A full audit of the four
editions against the reference specs found thirty-four discrepancies, twelve of them built the
same way: a fact corrected in the file that declares it, and left stale everywhere it is read.

Two things were actively working against the user. Lite had been fetching 8.4.6 modules for six
weeks while its integrity check reported everything fine. And the routing weights still picked
models that the very same build described as outdated a page earlier.

Lite fetched modules from a month and a half ago

The _index_v8L.md index — in main and inside the published 8.4.7-L.zip — pinned a gist
revision from 26.07, i.e. the 8.4.6 modules. The integrity check stayed silent: the sha256
values matched those very files, because the revision and the hashes are written into the index
at the same moment. Both sides of the comparison came from the same file.

Cause: the 8.4.7 release order. The release was published at 02:59, modules were pushed to the
gist at 03:22, and the commit carrying the new hashes landed in a branch that had been merged
half an hour earlier.

What changed in 8.4.8:

• modules are published as a separate gist per release — a gist is a release asset, like a zip,
  and nothing overwrites it afterwards;
• every entry points at one gist and one revision; hashes are recomputed from the actual files
  and verified against what the network really serves;
• the integrity check fetches each file without the pinned revision and compares it
  with the index — it asks the source rather than the declaration;
• the transfer of a release to its own gist used to pass all three guards green: the tool changed
  only the revision, and the guard counted revisions but not gists, so a lagging entry pointed at
  the old gist where the same files sit — the hash matched and everything looked healthy.
  A check that all entries point at one gist was added.

Model data — across all builds

Model lines were brought up to 10.09 by a sweep, not by spot edits: every model identifier was
extracted from the delivery files, the outdated ones selected, and each line replaced through an
anchored substitution list — an anchor must match exactly once, otherwise nothing is applied.
343 replacements in total: C — 130, H — 108, N — 84, Lite — 21.

• Grok 4.6 is the flagship (was 4.5): $2 / $0.50 cached / $6; above 200K → $4 / $1 / $12,
  and the cache doubles too. Grok 4.5 stays as fallback — its cache read is cheaper, $0.30.
  Grok 4.7 was announced for 12.09 by a founder's post; the vendor has no spec for it, so it is
  not routed to.
• Gemini 3.8 Flash is the bulk primary (was 3.6): $0.75 / $3.75, cache-read $0.075 — the
  introductory price of the whole Flash line until 31.12, doubling on 01.01.2027.
• GLM-5.3 and 5.3-Flash replace GLM-5.1. Flash: 300K context, $0.15 / $0.03 / $0.50, promo
  expired on schedule 09.09. GLM-5.1 remains in the catalogue as legacy with defect G19.
• Qwen 3.8-Max replaces 3.6-Plus: 1M context, max output 131,072 (the earlier 128K was
  wrong), flat tariff. Alongside it, 3.8-Flash-Next at $0.16 / $0.47. The qwen3-* and 3.6-*
  lines retire on 10.10 — the vendor's id list has not been read, so the build carries a warning
  and no list.
• Kimi K3 replaces K2.5, retired 31.08.
• GPT-6 Astra (GA 09.09) enters as primary for webdev in High and Normal; in Claude it is
  operator-explicit. Context 1,050,000, output 128,000, $10 / $1 cached / $50. The 272K threshold
  applies with cache included, so keep context below it; tools only via /v1/responses.
• Vendor xAI is now SpaceXAI — the deal was announced 02.02.2026, vendor docs and arena boards
  are already renamed. The Grok product name and api strings did not change; host detection
  understands both spellings.

Routing weights were corrected as well — the percentages by which a model is picked inside a
task. glm-5.1 still held 30% of budget tasks and qwen3.6-plus 12% of coding: a model could be
described correctly in the reference and still be chosen incorrectly in practice.

Retirement records, version history and defect cards keep their old model names on purpose — those
are legitimate mentions, not stale data. Every such line was checked by hand.

Fixed

• The release checklist had not a single verifiable item — it was a procedure on paper, and
  8.4.7 shipped past it. Publication is now blocked by a release quarantine: eighteen checks,
  each printing the number of objects examined next to the number of failures; zero examined is
  a failure. The guard is itself tested by deliberately breaking a release and checking it was caught.
• On 10.09, while fixing 8.4.7-L, the asset was re-uploaded with CRLF line endings. On some
  hosts modules stopped loading: \r ended up at the tail of the URL taken from the index, and the
  request went nowhere. The asset was restored to the published one the same day; the v8.4.7 tag
  and history were not touched. In 8.4.8 line endings are checked before release, by bytes.
• The DELTA form went to the LIVE channel without the routing table — installed builds got new
  prices and deadlines but not new routes. The cause was inheritance: the builder dropped the same
  sections from DELTA as from the full form, and HOST_PROFILE_DELTA was dropped for a sound
  reason — "already baked into BASE in the new build" — which is exactly backwards for a delta
  that travels to OLD builds. ROUTING_MATRIX and HOST_PROFILE_DELTA are now mandatory; the
  delta grew from 27.9 to 53.1 KB, and routes reach 8.4.7 too.
• Sonnet 5 at $2/$10. The increase to $3/$15 from 01.09 was cancelled on 10.08; each build's
  manifest said outright "any line with $3/$15 is wrong" — and the lines themselves remained in
  ten places.
• The chunk builder tore the Lite arsenal apart on any model-line update. Section boundaries
  were tied to headings carrying a version number (// §2. GPT-5.5); updating the heading broke
  the build. Boundaries are now version-agnostic.
• Five High menu items led to files that do not exist, while the modules themselves exist under
  other names. Agent labels for [7] and [9] were taken from the Normal scheme and contradicted
  High's own !agents.md.
• The plugin tree was not a copy but an older build — its live layer lagged to 26.07 and 27.06
  and carried three facts the reference explicitly overrides. 59 dependency links in the plugin
  pointed at chat-form names that do not exist in the plugin tree.

Removed

• The embedded live_specs.md is gone from all builds — four copies at 62 KB each. Facts moved
  into each edition's BASE; fresher data arrives over the LIVE channel. The build got smaller, and
  the "one thing in the file, another in the channel" mismatch became impossible.
• /p2p-download is removed from the Normal edition. Normal is the plain build — no network
  fetch, everything from local files. High, Claude and Lite keep the channel.

Changed

• Modules are published as a separate gist per release (see above). The LIVE gist stays one for
  all versions and unpinned on purpose — that is the update channel for installed builds.
• A note for anyone keeping their own copy of the modules: substituting your own gist will not
  work by changing the URL alone. Each entry carries a pinned revision, a sha256 and a size, and
  each file ends with its own EOF_MARKER_<NAME>_VALIDATED. All three must be changed together —
  and even that is not enough: some hosts refuse to work when the declared and the actual disagree,
  however harmless the content. Verified on live models on 10.09.

Пять дней после 8.4.7, и этот выпуск вовсе не про возможности. Сплошная сверка четырёх редакций
с эталонными спеками нашла тридцать четыре расхождения, двенадцать из них устроены одинаково:
факт исправлен в файле-объявлении и остался старым везде, где его читают.

Две вещи прямо вредили пользователю. Lite полтора месяца грузил модули 8.4.6, а проверка
целостности при этом рапортовала, что всё в порядке. И веса маршрутизации по-прежнему выбирали
модели, которые сама же сборка страницей выше называла устаревшими.

Lite грузил модули полуторамесячной давности

Индекс _index_v8L.md — в main и внутри опубликованного 8.4.7-L.zip — указывал на ревизию
гиста от 26.07, то есть на модули 8.4.6. Проверка целостности молчала: sha256 сходились
с теми самыми старыми файлами, потому что ревизия и хеши записываются в индекс одновременно.
Обе стороны сверки брались из одного файла.

Причина — порядок выпуска 8.4.7. Релиз опубликовали в 02:59, модули залили на гист в 03:22,
а коммит с новыми хешами лёг в ветку, слитую за полчаса до него.

Что изменилось в 8.4.8:

• модули публикуются отдельным гистом на каждый выпуск — гист здесь такой же ассет релиза,
  как zip, и поверх него больше ничего не переписывается;
• все записи ведут на один гист и одну ревизию; хеши пересчитаны по фактическим файлам
  и сверены с тем, что реально отдаёт сеть;
• проверка целостности качает каждый файл по адресу без вшитой ревизии и сверяет
  с индексом — то есть спрашивает источник, а не собственное объявление;
• переезд выпуска на свой гист раньше проходил все три заслона зелёными: инструмент менял только
  ревизию, а страж считал ревизии, но не сами гисты — отставшая запись вела на старый гист, где
  лежат те же файлы, хеш сходился, и всё выглядело исправным. Добавлена проверка «все записи на одном гисте».

Данные о моделях — во всех сборках

Линейки приведены к 10.09 сплошным проходом, а не выборочно: из всех файлов поставки выписаны
идентификаторы моделей, отобраны устаревшие, и каждая строка правилась по списку замен с проверкой
якоря — якорь обязан совпасть ровно один раз, иначе правки не применяются вовсе. Всего
343 замены: C — 130, H — 108, N — 84, Lite — 21.

• Grok 4.6 — флагман (был 4.5): $2 / $0.50 cached / $6; от 200K → $4 / $1 / $12, причём за
  порогом дорожает и кэш. Grok 4.5 остался как fallback — у него чтение из кэша дешевле, $0.30.
  Grok 4.7 объявлен на 12.09 записью основателя; спецификации у вендора нет, поэтому в маршруты
  он не заводится.
• Gemini 3.8 Flash — bulk primary (был 3.6): $0.75 / $3.75, cache-read $0.075 — это вводная
  цена всей линии Flash до 31.12, с 01.01.2027 вдвое дороже.
• GLM-5.3 и 5.3-Flash вместо GLM-5.1. Flash: 300K контекста, $0.15 / $0.03 / $0.50, промо

  и 3.6-* снимаются 10.10 — список идентификаторов у вендора не прочитан, поэтому в сборке

Отдельно правились веса маршрутизации — те проценты, по которым модель выбирается внутри
задачи. Там держались glm-5.1 (30 % бюджетных задач) и qwen3.6-plus (12 % кода): модель могла
быть названа верно в справочнике и при этом выбрана неверно на деле.

Записи о снятых моделях, история версий и карточки дефектов сохраняют старые имена намеренно —
это законные упоминания, а не устаревшие данные. Каждая такая строка проверена глазами.

Исправлено

• Прежний чек-лист выпуска не имел ни одного проверяемого пункта — это была процедура на
  бумаге, и 8.4.7 вышел мимо неё. Теперь публикацию запрещает карантин выпуска: восемнадцать
  проверок, у каждой печатается число осмотренных объектов рядом с числом провалов, ноль
  осмотренных — это провал. Сам заслон проверяется тем, что выпуск ломают нарочно и смотрят, заметил ли он.
• 10.09 при попытке починить 8.4.7-L ассет был перезалит с концами строк CRLF. У части хостов
  после этого перестали грузиться модули: символ \r попадал в хвост адреса, взятого из индекса,
  и запрос уходил в никуда. Ассет возвращён к опубликованному в тот же день; тег v8.4.7
  и история не трогались. В 8.4.8 концы строк проверяет карантин — по байтам.
• Форма DELTA шла на LIVE-канал без таблицы маршрутов — установленные сборки получали новые
  цены и сроки, но не новые маршруты. Причина в наследовании: сборщик выбрасывал из дельты те же
  секции, что из полной формы, а HOST_PROFILE_DELTA выбрасывался с верным обоснованием «в новой
  сборке это уже вшито в BASE» — для дельты, которая едет в СТАРЫЕ сборки, обоснование обратное.
  ROUTING_MATRIX и HOST_PROFILE_DELTA теперь обязательны; дельта выросла с 27,9 до 53,1 КБ,
  и маршруты доезжают до 8.4.7.
• Sonnet 5 — $2/$10. Подорожание до $3/$15 с 01.09 отменили ещё 10.08, манифест каждой сборки
  прямо писал «любая строка с $3/$15 неверна» — а сами строки остались в десяти местах.
• Сборщик чанков Lite рвал арсенал при обновлении линейки моделей. Границы кусков были
  привязаны к заголовкам с номером версии (// §2. GPT-5.5); стоило обновить заголовок под новую
  модель, и сборка падала. Границы отвязаны от номеров.
• Пять пунктов меню High вели на файлы, которых нет, при том что сами модули есть под другими
  именами. Подписи агентов [7] и [9] были взяты из схемы Normal и противоречили !agents.md
  самой High.
• Дерево плагина было не копией, а более старой сборкой — живой слой отставал до 26.07 и 27.06
  и нёс три факта, отменённых эталоном явно. 59 ссылок на зависимости внутри плагина указывали
  на имена чат-формы, которых в дереве плагина нет.

Удалено

• Вшитый live_specs.md убран из всех сборок — четыре копии по 62 КБ в каждой поставке. Факты
  переехали в BASE редакций, свежее приходит по LIVE-каналу. Сборка стала меньше, а расхождение
  «в файле одно, в канале другое» — невозможным.
• /p2p-download убран из редакции Normal. Normal — обычная сборка: без сетевой загрузки, всё
  из локальных файлов. В High, Claude и Lite канал остаётся.

Изменено

• Модули публикуются отдельным гистом на каждый выпуск (см. выше). LIVE-гист остаётся один на
  все версии и без пина намеренно — это канал обновления для уже установленных сборок.
• Замечание для тех, кто захочет держать свою копию модулей: подставить свой гист, поменяв
  только адрес, не выйдет. Каждая запись несёт вшитую ревизию, sha256 и размер, а каждый файл
  оканчивается собственным маркером EOF_MARKER_<ИМЯ>_VALIDATED. Менять надо всю тройку сразу —
  и этого всё равно недостаточно: часть хостов отказывается работать, когда объявленное расходится
  с фактическим, даже если содержимое безобидное. Проверено на живых моделях 10.09.
