💡 Feature Request: Cover Letter Generation

Hi everyone! I'd love to propose a new feature for Career Ops — an AI-powered cover letter generator to complement the existing resume and job-matching tools.

What I'm Suggesting

A workflow that takes a job posting and the user's resume/profile, then generates a tailored cover letter ready to submit.

Why It Would Be Valuable

Cover letters are one of the most time-consuming parts of the job application process. Since Career Ops already handles resume optimization and job targeting, a cover letter generator would complete the full application package and make the tool a one-stop shop for job seekers.

Proposed Behavior

• Accept a job description (pasted text or URL) as input
• Pull from the user's existing resume/profile data already in Career Ops
• Generate a customized cover letter that highlights relevant experience and aligns tone with the company/role
• Support optional customization inputs (e.g., tone: formal vs. conversational, length: short vs. standard)
• Allow export to .txt, .docx, or copy-to-clipboard

Nice to Have

• Multiple draft variations to choose from
• Editable inline before exporting
• Memory of previously generated letters for reference
