Changes since 0.1.0:
- Language packs are fetched from an address that resolves. Every language other than English previously failed to download.
Installing:
- Download the APK on the phone.
- Android will ask permission to install from your browser or file manager; that prompt is normal for an app not coming from the Play Store.
- On first launch Chesy downloads the chess engine's neural networks, 107 MB, once. Best done on Wi-Fi. Everything after that works offline.
The engine is real Stockfish 18 running on the phone. Games are analysed locally and never uploaded.
