• A clearer Mac installer: Retina artwork, large app and Applications icons, a drag arrow and installation instructions.
• Finder layout is generated without requesting Finder Automation permission. The app keeps its Developer ID signature and notarization through packaging.
• All three installers use the same versioned application source. Existing settings, personal API keys, accounts, Pro licenses and usage are preserved.

Free Cloud remains 30 minutes per week, with AI cleanup included. Pro remains 180 hours per rolling 30 days. Groq is the visible provider for new personal-key setup, with Whisper Large v3 recommended; hosted transcription continues to use Turbo.

Google OAuth is External / In production, and its branding is verified and published. Resend confirmation and password recovery email delivery has been verified. These hosted changes also apply to 0.5.0; signup abuse controls and paid lifecycle verification remain documented launch follow-ups. The proposed seven-day trial stays disabled.

Mac releases are Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled. Windows installers have Tauri updater signatures, but do not have Microsoft Authenticode certificates. Windows x64 testing under ARM emulation is distinct from physical Intel/AMD hardware testing. Intel Macs and 32-bit Windows installers are not provided.

• Provider and model share one row. New setup exposes Groq and recommends Whisper Large v3 for personal keys; existing provider configurations remain supported.
• Mac Settings stay open across application switching. Closing the window returns Dictámelo to the menu bar.
• Free Cloud: 30 minutes per week. Pro: 180 hours per rolling 30 days. Usage is shared across devices. AI cleanup is included and adds no audio time.
• Preserve existing licenses, account sessions and historical usage. Enforce Free audio reservations and strengthen billing-table access controls.
• Extend the licensed English speech regression with exact audio-time accounting, concurrent requests and quota boundaries.

Hosted transcription uses Whisper Large v3 Turbo. The Large v3 recommendation applies to personal keys. Free recordings remain limited to two minutes; the final accepted recording is delivered whole. Pro retains its ten-second minimum per transcription and ten-minute request limit. See plan details.

Installed-app Google sign-in has been verified. Production Resend email confirmation and password recovery passed real Inbox delivery and public Auth API checks on September 6. • AI cleanup included with Free Cloud transcription; words are counted once. Optional cleanup also applies to uploaded audio, with the original text preserved if cleanup fails.
• Email/password account screens, Google browser sign-in, visible usage and a repeatable Onboarding wizard.
• A minimum settings-window size and Check for Updates in the Mac application menu and tray.
• Cached noninteractive macOS credential access, with separate development and release namespaces.
• An attributed English speech fixture and regression checks before release builds.

The Windows installers use Tauri updater signatures; they do not have a Microsoft Authenticode certificate. Windows tests execute on native x64 CI; ARM64 is cross-compiled. The Windows VM was unavailable for this candidate's installation test. Intel Macs and 32-bit Windows are not supported.

On the test Mac, an operating-system file-provider blockage prevented the native picker and reading from Downloads. Importing a local copy by path passed transcription and cleanup. The app recovers from failed panel creation, but does not repair the underlying macOS service.

This candidate does not replace the stable automatic-update channel. Installers become immutable when this release is published.

The app checks for updates every six hours as well as at startup, so users who leave it running receive new-version notifications.

Includes the first Windows ARM64 installer. macOS and Windows updater artifacts are signed with the same Tauri key, and the update manifest preserves both platforms. This historical macOS installer was signed but not notarized.
