This update brings cost tracking and reauthentication support to EnelGrid, making it fully compatible with Home Assistant’s Energy Dashboard and improving reliability when login credentials change or expire.

Now, you can track your energy costs dynamically based on your configured price per kWh.

✨ Features & Improvements:
💰 Cost Tracking Added – EnelGrid now tracks energy costs using a configurable price_per_kWh parameter.
📊 New Cost Statistic – A dedicated external statistic for total costs is now created.
🔄 Dynamic Updates – Costs are updated automatically as new energy data is fetched.
⚡ Energy Dashboard Support – You can now select “Use an entity tracking total costs” in Home Assistant’s Energy settings.
🔐 Reauthentication Support – If login fails (e.g. wrong or expired credentials), Home Assistant will prompt you to re-enter them without needing to delete and re-add the integration.
🐛 Bug Fixes – Resolved issues related to sensor/statistics ID mismatches. (Also fixed wrong sync call to database, now fully async)

🚨 Important Notice for Existing Users

If you have previously used the integration, it’s recommended to:

  1. Remove old energy statistics from Developer Tools > Statistics to ensure clean data.
  2. Restart Home Assistant after updating.
  3. Reconfigure the integration to set up the new cost tracking feature properly.
