Hi, I'm relatively new to Seurat and wanted some clarification on whether my use of the "MAST" test in the FindMarkers() function is appropriate here. I ran PrepSCTFindMarkers() and set my default assay to "SCT". However, from what I've read and understood, MAST was specifically designed for log-normalised RNA counts. Does running MAST on the corrected cSCT assay violate the underlying assumptions of the test, or is it mathematically okay to use them together? Thank you
