@sauravtom sauravtom released this 28 Sep 11:18

Initial Codex plugin for keyless Android control.

  • Full plugin ZIP: hosted MCP connection, portable skill, locked Python runtime source, launcher, and icon.
  • Skills ZIP: the same skill for a directory draft that registers MCP separately.
  • Hosted endpoint: https://phone-use.xagi.in/mcp, with OAuth and one-device pairing through an outbound bridge.
  • Local stdio MCP and JSON CLI remain available; no model API keys or companion APK are required.

Validated on AWS: 44 Python tests, Ruff, TypeScript checks, Python builds, plugin validation, clean-install packaging smoke, and local/production relay protocol tests using fake ADB. The original local stdio workflow passed on Android 9; the full remote emulator workflow remains unverified after emulator failures.

The hosted relay is experimental. Screenshots and UI data transit Cloudflare and the agent provider. See the privacy policy and setup documentation before connecting a phone.

This download is available on GitHub. The OpenAI directory draft has not been submitted or approved. Browser authorization/upload blockers, durable reviewer access and a demo recording remain outstanding.

Skills upload corrected on September 28, 2026: the skills-only ZIP now contains one skill root with SKILL.md at the top level. Re-download the skills ZIP and matching checksum if you received the earlier archive. Full plugin ZIP unchanged. Packaging fix: ab4c4ef
