The first release of Goated Panels Hub for macOS, with Asset Library, a free panel for Premiere Pro that brings your own transitions, overlays, sound effects, music, footage and images into Premiere.

Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: "Chip: Apple M…" means Apple Silicon.

Install

  1. Open the .dmg and drag Goated Panels Hub into Applications.
  2. Open it. The app isn't signed by Apple yet, so macOS blocks the first launch: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
  3. In the Goated Panels Hub window, keep the recommended method selected and click Install Asset Library.
  4. Restart Premiere Pro and open Window → Extensions → Asset Library (Premiere Pro 2024–2026) or Window → UXP Plugins → Asset Library (2027 and later).
  5. In the panel's Settings, add the folders that hold your assets.

What's in it

  • Asset Library panel for Premiere Pro: browse folders, search, filter by type, tag and favorite assets, preview them, and drag them onto the timeline or place them at the playhead (several at once).
  • Goated Panels Hub: installs the right panel for your Premiere Pro (CEP for 2024–2026, tested on 26.5; UXP for 2027 and later), shows what's installed, and uninstalls cleanly. It keeps running in the background to index your folders and make thumbnails and previews.
  • Local and private: no account, no telemetry, works offline. The only network call is an optional daily check for new versions on this page.
  • Your files stay put: Asset Library never moves, renames, changes or deletes your files.

Known limits

  • macOS only for now; the Windows version follows.
  • Not signed or notarized by Apple yet (hence Open Anyway above).
  • After Effects isn't supported yet.

Uninstall

Goated Panels Hub → Manage → Uninstall Goated Panels Hub…, or Settings → Advanced → Uninstall… in the panel. Your library is kept unless you tick the box to delete it.
