Changes in 0.1.4

• Cleaner video player: ▶ Watch in a Twitch tab is back to Twitch's own video player, showing just the video. The twitch.tv page view from 0.1.3 looked messy.
• Channel points stay in the app: the ◎ button next to Send still opens the channel's rewards right in the tab. Click it again to get back to the video.
• ↗ Twitch is back: opens the channel on twitch.tv in its own window, signed in, if you want follows, channel points and watch streaks to count for sure.

ChatXD v0.1.3-alpha

New in 0.1.3

• YouTube chat with no limits: ChatXD now reads YouTube chat the way YouTube's own chat window does, so it no longer runs into Google's daily API limit. Signing in to YouTube is now optional. Type your channel in Settings → Accounts → YouTube to read your chat, and connect your account only if you want to send messages and moderate.
• Emote picker: click ☺ next to Send to browse and search your Twitch emotes (your subs, follower emotes and Twitch's) plus 7TV, BTTV and FFZ. Recently used emotes stay at the top. Twitch will ask you to reconnect once so ChatXD can see your emotes.
• Right-click anyone in chat: reply, @mention, copy their message, or open moderator tools (in channels you moderate).
• Replies: reply to a message on Twitch and Kick, threaded like on the site.
• @ autocomplete: type @ to pick someone who's chatting.
• Watch Twitch right in ChatXD, as you: the ▶ Watch player in a Twitch tab is now twitch.tv itself, so Twitch knows it's you. Your follows show, and channel points and watch streaks count like on the site. Sign in once under Settings → Accounts → Player sign-in: Twitch.
• Redeem channel points in the app: the ◎ button next to Send in a Twitch tab opens that channel's rewards right there, with your points balance. Click it again to get back to the stream.
• Bigger video: drag the bar under the player to make the video bigger or smaller (double-click it to reset). ChatXD remembers your size.
• Chat on the right: click the sidebar icon (▢▮) next to Watch to put chat in a column beside the video, like on twitch.tv. Drag the edge to set the chat width.
• Mod tools only where they work: Delete, Timeout and Ban only show in channels you moderate, never on the streamer, and on other mods only in your own channel. Moderator and VIP switches only show in your own channel, and typing / in someone else's chat only suggests commands anyone can use.
• Live dots on tabs: a red dot shows which channel tabs are live, and pulses when one just went live.

Fixes

• Fixed a crash on startup when split view was showing Clips or Viewers.
• If ChatXD ever hits a problem, the error screen now has a Reset layout button that turns off split view and resets player and chat sizes.

New in 0.1.2

• A fresh new look: ChatXD has its new brand: a new app icon, neon cyan and magenta colors, the Chakra Petch font for tabs, headings and buttons, and sharper, angular shapes. Your chat text keeps the font you picked.
• Light mode: Settings → Appearance → Light mode, for the app and the OBS dock. Your stream overlay keeps its own look.
• Clearer colors: blue for info, yellow for warnings, red for errors and green for success, so banners and pop-ups are easier to read at a glance.
• Getting started: if no accounts are connected yet, a banner points you to Settings to connect one.
• See what each account can do: Settings → Accounts now shows what each connected account lets you do in ChatXD.
• Kick moderators: if you're a mod in someone's Kick channel, your mod tools show up there once you've chatted in it.
• YouTube sign-in: a note explains Google's "unverified app" screen, which is expected while ChatXD is in alpha.

ChatXD v0.1.1-alpha

New in 0.1.1

• Stream manager (⚡ Manage): quick Twitch actions in one panel: run an ad (30–180s), place a marker, create a clip, shout out a channel.
• Recommended raid: one click lists channels you follow that are live right now, same category first, then closest to your size. Raid asks you to confirm and can be cancelled.
• Go-live alerts: when a channel you have open in a tab goes live, its tab gets a red dot, a chime plays and a pop-up says who went live. Turn the alert or sound off in Settings → Mentions.
• Overlay updates live in OBS: changes in the overlay designer now show on stream right away, including on links you already added to OBS. The copied link no longer changes.
• New Settings layout: a vertical menu on the left with the page on the right (in narrow windows and docks the menu opens first, with a back button). Plus About the creator and a Support on Ko-fi button.
• Sign in when you need it: pressing Enter without a connected account opens a sign-in prompt and keeps your message. After signing in in the browser, ChatXD comes back and confirms who you're signed in as. Settings → Accounts now has a View profile link.
• Mod tools only where you can moderate: viewers no longer see timeout, ban or role controls in channels they don't moderate (Twitch mods still get them).

Reconnect Twitch once when the purple banner asks. Recommended raids need permission to see who you follow.

ChatXD v0.0.9-alpha

New in 0.0.9

• Kick chat connects again: Kick changed the key its chat server uses, so ChatXD couldn't read Kick chat ("Can't reach Kick chat"). ChatXD now uses the new key and asks Kick for the current one each time it connects, so a future change won't break it.
• Clearer connection problems: if Kick chat can't connect, the Kick status now says why (for example "Kick's chat server doesn't recognise ChatXD's app key") instead of a generic message.
• Log file for troubleshooting: Settings → Accounts → Troubleshooting → Open log folder. If something won't connect, the log has the exact error. Your tokens are never written to it.
• Player sign-in windows now show a bar saying whether you're signed in (and as who, on Twitch), so you know when to close them.
• A stale saved setting in the chat box can no longer stop ChatXD from starting.

• Activity tab: subs, resubs, gift subs, raids, bits, channel point redeems, follows, Super Chats and memberships from your channels on Twitch, YouTube and Kick, in one place. The buttons along the top filter by type.
• Install for everyone: the installer now asks whether to install just for you or for all users (in Program Files, after the Windows admin prompt).
• YouTube finds your stream more reliably, including streams sent through multistreaming tools. If your stream's live chat is turned off, ChatXD now says so.
• No more black window on reopen: closing ChatXD quits it fully (including the TikTok and sign-in windows), and if something goes wrong while starting you'll see the error and a Reload button.
