ESPHome v0.5.0
ESPHome component v0.5.0
- Installing firmware on several faders at once (e.g. Home Assistant's
Update all) now updates each in turn, instead of refusing all but the
first. A waiting fader shows as installing in Home Assistant and
Update pending on its Status sensor.fader_buddy.update_firmwarewaits
the same way, and itson_firmware_update_resultfires when the update
actually finishes. - Packages firmware v1.5
- The Status sensor now shows self-calibration progress and its result -
succeeded, failed (no travel found), or incomplete (endpoints found but the
motor measurement was discarded, leaving default motor tuning) - so a run can
be checked from Home Assistant without the logs. A fader whose motor has
never been calibrated says so at startup. - Breaking:
text_sensor: platform: fader_buddy, deprecated since 0.3.0,
is removed. A config still using it fails validation with instructions:
delete thetext_sensor:block and move anyname:/icon:onto the hub's
serial_number:key.
Firmware v1.5
Updated haptic control to use the same control system as remote moves, so calibration applies.

Electronics v1.3.2
Version 1.3.2 has no real changes but tweaks the panelization settings for bulk ordering (wider rails, fewer tabs with mousebites, and a backbone to make separation of the panel easier).
v1.3 is still recommended unless you need the panelization introduced in v1.3.1 and tweaked in v1.3.2

Electronics v1.3.1
Version 1.3.1 has no real changes but adds panelized gerber/assembly support for bulk ordering (trivial change: 2 vias were moved inward by 0.75mm for clearance with mousebites).
v1.3 is still recommended unless you need the panelization.

Electronics v1.3
Version 1.3 updates the electronics design files to Kicad 10 (from 8), and updates the back silkscreen to reflect the FaderBuddy project name.

Electronics v1.2
Version 1.2 is a minor update that fixes the BOM JLC part number for the ATtiny microcontroller, which previously referenced the ATtiny816 which is not compatible with this design (only 1 ADC, vs 2 in the 1616).
