Cellwright 0.1.0 preview helps move Excel VBA workbooks toward LibreOffice Basic or Python with local inventory, deterministic conversion candidates and a checklist of unresolved work.

Extract the complete archive. Open Start Cellwright.cmd on Windows or start-cellwright.sh on Linux. Python 3.11+ runs the dashboard; LibreOffice and its UNO Python are required for Basic/UNO conversion. Setup checks explain missing dependencies. The scanner executable works independently.

  • Inventory VBA, UserForms, ActiveX controls and Power Query, with explicit unknown coverage for skipped parts.
  • Review Basic/Python candidates, original source and diffs. Supported forms and controls get editable layouts and source-matched event candidates.
  • Use the demonstration workbook, migration checklist, guided comparison form, manual recipes and redacted review export in the existing local dashboard.
  • Scanning and conversion never run macros. Comparisons require explicit startup and case consent.

These are unsigned preview archives. Candidates require review; custom/dynamic controls, unsupported code and lifecycle events remain manual. Form display and new Basic helper execution have not been runtime-verified. Effort ranges remain uncalibrated estimates. No workbook macros were executed during this round's checks.

The archive contains the project's owned demonstration workbook; no third-party calibration workbooks are included. Each ZIP has an accompanying SHA-256 file and an internal dependency SBOM and file manifest.

Validation for commit 4581747: Windows 27 Rust and 34 Python tests passed; Ubuntu 28 Rust and 33 Python tests passed, with one intentional Windows-path skip. All three website tests passed on both platforms. Formatting, clippy with warnings denied, packaging and parser fuzzing passed in CI.
