v0.1.16 — no-telemetry release

  • Disable pyannote usage metrics and Hugging Face telemetry before optional imports; retain functional model/media downloads and gated-model authentication.
  • Website Cloudflare RUM and NEL are disabled. Necessary functional network requests and hosting-provider operational/security logs are distinct from visitor telemetry.
  • Whistle remains the default; no engine, model or dependency-pin changes. Optional fonts remain 0.1.6.
  • Genuine native Windows v0.1.16 installer rebuilt from the immutable tag and published wheel. Actual isolated EXE installation, version readback, native timed-speech selftest, privacy guards and browser UI launch passed. Your existing app was not upgraded or restarted. The EXE is unsigned; keep Windows protections enabled.
  • Fresh PyPI install passed real Whistle transcription and JSON/SRT/TXT/PDF export. All four Python artifact hashes match GitHub.
  • No new four-hour accuracy claim; unchanged source/dependency verification is reused with its original identity.

Six matching dependency-source/notice assets retain their verified v0.1.13 snapshot names, deliberately; they are not the installed application version. The payload manifest binds every file and the exact published core wheel. Python package hashes are in SHA256SUMS; Windows assets have their own WINDOWS-SHA256SUMS.
