✨ What's New
- You can now switch AI models mid-conversation without having to start a brand-new session, allowing you to seamlessly get a second opinion or tackle complex tasks without losing your chat history.
- Added support for the latest Claude 5.5 models, including Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5, with Sonnet 5.5 now configured as the default model.
- A new effort level selector lets you toggle reasoning effort mid-session, pin specific effort levels to custom sessions, or adjust it on the fly using the
/effortslash command. - Chat replies can now stream into your vault word-by-word as they are generated, giving you a live preview of the assistant's thoughts instead of waiting for the entire block to complete.
- A new
/usagecommand lets you check your plan usage directly in the chat window at any time without consuming extra tokens or altering your active session.
🛠 Fixes & Improvements
- When the underlying Claude Code CLI runs into an API error, BojuBot now displays a clean, readable error card with clear instructions on how to resolve it instead of throwing raw JSON.
- Standard permission mode now explicitly blocks interactive command line prompts while correctly allowing safe, read-only shell commands like listing directory contents.
- BojuBot now automatically probes your installed Claude Code CLI in the background to detect its capabilities, gracefully falling back to compatible manual permission modes and displaying your exact CLI version in the About dialog.
