Hosts File Editor v1.5.2 (classic) / v1.2.2 (modern) — a small quality patch following v1.5.1 / v1.2.1. Both editions.
Highlights
- Large hosts files render cleanly (modern). On very large lists (100K+ entries), list rows used to bleed over the status bar — a WinUI rendering bug that stopped clipping the bottom-edge rows once the list got big enough. The bottom rows now stay clipped inside the list at any size, so the status bar is never overpainted. (Fixes #79; the underlying platform bug is microsoft/microsoft-ui-xaml#11225.)
- Clearer validation for bad host names (both editions). Entering an invalid host name now shows an "Invalid host names" message instead of a blank one. (Fixes #131.)
