Corresponding Source — Scrollix bundled FFmpeg (Windows x64 + macOS arm64/x86_64)
This release contains the complete corresponding source for every FFmpeg binary
bundled with Scrollix, on all platforms, published to satisfy the GNU GPL version 2
source-availability requirement.
All six binaries are built from the same two pinned source archives attached here, by
the two GitHub Actions workflows in this repository (also attached, for convenience).

Built natively by .github/workflows/build-ffmpeg-macos.yml — arm64 on a macos-15
runner, x86_64 on a macos-15-intel runner. Deployment targets: arm64 minos 11.0,
x86_64 minos 10.15.
Configure flags (licence-relevant): --enable-gpl --enable-libx264 --enable-static --disable-shared --disable-ffplay --disable-doc — no --enable-version3.
Additionally --disable-sdl2 --disable-xlib --disable-libxcb --disable-lzma: these remove
build-host-dependent autodetection, so the binaries link only Apple system frameworks
and /usr/lib. They add and remove no codec Scrollix uses. On macOS a fully static
executable is not possible (Apple ships no static libSystem), so "static" here means x264
is linked in as a static library while the C library and OS frameworks remain dynamic.

Built by .github/workflows/build-ffmpeg-windows-x64.yml — FFmpeg 8.1.2 cross-compiled
with mingw-w64 (gcc 13) on Ubuntu 24.04, statically linked.
Configure flags (licence-relevant): identical to the macOS build above — --enable-gpl --enable-libx264 --enable-static --disable-shared --disable-ffplay --disable-doc, no
--enable-version3.
Licence
Because --enable-gpl is used with libx264 and --enable-version3 is not, the
combined work is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later.
FFmpeg's own configure reports: License: GPL version 2 or later.
x264 is likewise GPLv2-or-later. Apple system frameworks linked by the macOS builds
(VideoToolbox, AudioToolbox, AVFoundation, CoreImage, etc.) are operating-system
components and fall within the GPLv2 §3 system-library exception.

Both workflows verify these SHA-256 sums before every build, so the published source is
provably the source the binaries were built from. Anyone can reproduce the binaries by
running the attached workflows (or an equivalent invocation of the same commands) against
the two verified archives.
Retention
These source assets must remain available for at least 3 years after the last
distribution of the binaries built from them. This release covers BOTH Windows and macOS —
do not delete it or its assets when pruning old installer/update releases.
An earlier release, ffmpeg-source-win-x64-8.1.2, contains the same two archives and the
Windows workflow only. It remains published and valid; this release supersedes it as the
single source location cited by Scrollix's notices on both platforms.

Fixes image upload failure in x64 production builds caused by Sharp's native binaries being bundled for the wrong architecture (arm64 binaries in an x64-targeted build, since built on an Apple Silicon dev machine). Adds an electron-builder afterPack hook to rebuild Sharp with correct x64-specific binaries. Verified end-to-end on both Apple Silicon and Intel hardware: image, video, reel, and carousel post creation, GCS upload, and Instagram publishing all confirmed working.
