Privacy and Security

Command Center is built to keep you in control of your vault.

Main points

  • secrets are stored in an encrypted credential vault
  • locked state disables providers that need keys
  • no client-side telemetry is included
  • local options are available when you want to keep work on your machine or network
  • destructive actions require explicit approval

When data leaves your vault

If you use a cloud provider or transcription service, Command Center sends only the content needed for that feature.

Good habits

  • use local providers when privacy matters most
  • review prompts before sending sensitive notes
  • keep credentials in the secure settings area
