Release Notes

Current wiki update

This wiki update reflects recent Command Center changes:

  • API keys now persist in Obsidian's built-in Secret Storage
  • the old encrypted credential-vault wording was removed
  • privacy notes were updated to remove machine-identity assumptions
  • the plugin now respects the vault's configured Obsidian config directory
  • a built-in browser panel was added for quick in-app reference
  • chat, voice, and troubleshooting pages were updated to match the current UI and workflow

User-facing highlights

Secrets

Provider secrets are managed through Settings → Command Center and stored in Obsidian Secret Storage. They can be replaced or removed, but they are not revealed back into the UI.

Privacy

Command Center no longer relies on machine identity reads for its core workflows. It also uses the vault's configured Obsidian config directory instead of assuming .obsidian.

Browser panel

Command Center now includes an in-app browser panel that opens from the ribbon or command palette as a workspace leaf.

Notes for readers

If you are upgrading from an older version, review the updated Privacy and Security, Settings, Chat and Voice, and Troubleshooting pages for the latest behavior.
