Command Center is built to keep you in control of your vault.

Main points

• secrets are stored in Obsidian's built-in Secret Storage
• provider keys persist with your vault and can be replaced or removed in settings
• no client-side telemetry is included
• local options are available when you want to keep work on your machine or network
• destructive actions require explicit approval

When data leaves your vault

If you use a cloud provider or transcription service, Command Center sends only the content needed for that feature.

Privacy notes

• Command Center does not read machine identity fields such as hostname, user info, or network interfaces.
• The plugin uses your vault's configured Obsidian config directory instead of assuming .obsidian.

Good habits

• use local providers when privacy matters most
• review prompts before sending sensitive notes
• keep credentials in the secure settings area and manage them through Obsidian Secret Storage
