@grst should we switch to AWS?

figshare is being sus:

----> 1 datapath = pooch.retrieve(
      2     url="https://figshare.com/ndownloader/files/40067737",
      3     known_hash="md5:b80deb0997f96b45d06f19c694e46243",
      4     path="./data",
      5     fname="scverse-getting-started-anndata-pbmc3k_processed.h5ad",
      6 )

ValueError: MD5 hash of downloaded file (scverse-getting-started-anndata-pbmc3k_processed.h5ad) does not match the known hash: expected md5:b80deb0997f96b45d06f19c694e46243 but got d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e. Deleted download for safety. The downloaded file may have been corrupted or the known hash may be outdated.

but the download link and MD5 match: https://figshare.com/articles/dataset/scverse_tutorial_data_Getting_started_with_AnnData/22577536?file=40067737

OK, then I’ll see if I can figure it out using our docs and 1Password 😈

If I fail, I’ll ask you and improve the part of our docs where I got stuck!

/edit: ended up logging in just straight into the console with the root password instead of using the S3 admin account.
