Cosmic Mail is a native macOS app for saved email and email-link capture.

• Read EML/EMLX, Outlook MSG/OFT, MBOX-style archives, and Maildir.
• Catch mailto links in a copy-friendly window, with no account login or sending.
• Native light/dark reading, English/Simplified Chinese, adjustable text, message details, and attachment saving.
• App Sandbox, remote-content blocking, inert attachments, and explicit website-link confirmation.

Install: Download the universal ZIP, unzip it, and move Cosmic Mail.app to Applications. Requires macOS 14 or later; includes Apple Silicon and Intel.

The app is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple notarized. If macOS blocks the GitHub download, verify its source and use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Do not disable Gatekeeper.

SHA256SUMS.txt verifies the download. Default email and file handlers change only when you choose them.
