Known Issues

  • macOS v1 ships as an unsigned DMG. Users may need to right-click OpenStudio.app and choose Open, then allow it in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
  • The optional AI Tools runtime for stem separation is not bundled in the base app. Users install it later from inside OpenStudio and need Python 3.10+ available first.
  • Document any other launch-day limitations here.

Upgrade Notes

  • Project files now save as .osproj while legacy .s13 sessions continue to load.
  • Call out any additional migration details, changed file formats, or compatibility notes here.
