1.2.80 JPEGView - Cherry Picks + Browse Manga
New Feature: Browse manga/comics
- [Experimental] Browse manga/comics
- Container format: CBZ/CB7. Within can be JXL, JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF/HEIF, QOI, BMP and RAW images; animation ignored.
- Uses bit7z/7zip, so can probably open many more archive formats. They just aren't added to file filter.
- Navigation in manga mode:
- Left/Right: previous/next image in archive. If is already at 1st or last image of archive respectively, exits archive to previous/next image instead.
- ALT+<Left/Right arrow>: Jump back/forward 100 images in archive. If overshoot, stop at first/last image in archive.
- CTRL+<Left/Right arrow>: Exit archive to previous/next image file.
- ALT+G: Enter 'goto image number' mode (toast prompt appears), key in desired number and hit to jump to that image in archive. To cancel, hit or let entry timeout (toast disappears).
- Container format: CBZ/CB7. Within can be JXL, JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF/HEIF, QOI, BMP and RAW images; animation ignored.
- Fix JXL memory leak.
- Selective sync of codes from upstream till ~ Jul 2024 updates.

- JPEGView.zip - full, portable package, you may unzip and run from.
- If JPEGView can't run, move the (VCRedist) DLLs in
extrasfolder out, alongside JPEGView.exe, and it should work.
- If JPEGView can't run, move the (VCRedist) DLLs in
- JPEGView-less-config.zip - for updating existing installation; just unzip and replace EXE & DLLs.
- Merge any new config option(s) yourself.
- Auto-built JPEGView*-Setup.msi installer
- With option for the minimal set of VCRedist DLLs (<2MB) needed by AVIF/JXL. OR you may install the full set from Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2022 (~24 MB installer).
