exp_adminui v1.0.0.51: Remember me checked by default, change password at next sign-in

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 24 Oct 21:58

exp_adminui 1.0.0.51

  • Added: Remember me on the Admin UI login form, checked by default (shown when site.ini [Session] RememberMeTimeout is set; Exponential 6.0.15 sets it to 360 days). Before, an Admin UI sign-in always ended with the browser session.
  • Added: The account form (content/datatype/edit/ezuser.tpl) has the kernel's checkbox Change password at next sign-in, shown only when the signed-in user edits someone else's account and ticked while the account is new.
  • Added: Change password at next sign-in. The password page (user/password.tpl) tells a user whose account an administrator marked "Change password at next sign-in" why they were sent there, with the kernel's text and translations.

Needs Exponential 6.0.15 for the change password parts (expPasswordChangeRequired; on an older kernel the notice never shows and the checkbox has no effect).

exp_adminui 1.0.0.50: the admin tabs name their icons, modern README

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 22 Oct 06:17
  • Updated: The Media library, User accounts and Webshop tabs name their icons in the adminui siteaccess's
    menu.ini (Icon=images, Icon=people, Icon=box-seam), with the comment the kernel's menu.ini uses for the
    setting. They are the icons an admin4 header draws for these tabs; the adminui side bar keeps its own Font
    Awesome icons.
  • Updated: A modern README: who the extension is for, requirements, installation with Composer and by hand,
    every setting with an example block, usage, permissions, upgrading, known limits, troubleshooting, tests and
    contributing.
  • Updated: composer.json credits Netgen, links the documentation and names the extension directory for both
    installers; extension.xml lists the bundled third-party software and the dependencies on ezjscore and expui.
  • Added: This changelog.

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 20 Oct 02:26

Updated: Version 1.0.0.49.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.48: Escape closes the Help menu

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 14:03
  • Fixed: Escape closes the header's Help menu and gives the focus back to its button; a click elsewhere closes it too. The menu is a native disclosure, which browsers do not close with Escape.
  • Added: test HB-08 in tests/expadminuihelpbuttontest.php.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.47: the Help center right below the Help menu's search

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 12:08

Updated: The Admin UI header's Help menu lists "Open the Help center" right below its search field, before the help for this page, the related topics and the quick links, as in the kernel's admin designs (Exponential 6.0.15). Its separator line is now below it.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.46: the help system's Help control and Help center links

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 09:29

Works with the help system of Exponential 6.0.15 (the kernel's exphelp module); with an older kernel nothing changes.

  • Added: a context Help control at the end of the header. It opens the help page of the module and view on screen, from the help system's context map for the design, and shows only for users who may read the help (exphelp/read).
  • Added: with a kernel that has the help system's Help menu, the Help control opens a menu as in admin4: a search of the help, the help for this page, related topics, quick links and the Help center. It is a native disclosure and needs no script.
  • Added: the Help center link in the user menu and in the footer.
  • Updated: the help pages take the full width of the main column (they shrank to a few pixels in its flex column).
  • Fixed: below 800px the side bar's links kept no accessible name (their labels were hidden with display: none); the labels are now hidden on screen only.
  • Added: tests/expadminuihelpbuttontest.php keeps the Help control's contract.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.45: New draft opens the new draft

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 07:43

Updated

  • The edit-conflict page (content/edit of an object that already has a draft): "New draft" creates the draft and opens its editor. The template posted the hidden field DoNotEditAfterNewDraft, so content/edit redirected back to the same conflict page and the button seemed to do nothing. tests/expadminuieditconflictnewdrafttest.php checks the template.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.44: the map field loads the Google Maps API only with an API key

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 05:06
  • Fixed: The ezgmaplocation edit template of the adminui design loads the Google Maps JavaScript API only when [GMapSettings] ApiKey is set, from https://maps.googleapis.com with the key URL-encoded (it loaded it from maps.google.com on every edit form with a map field, also without a key, which an enforced Content Security Policy blocked). Without a key no map is set up, as in ezgmaplocation 6.0.12.
  • Added: tests/expadminuigmapapikeytest.php (DB-less).

exp_adminui 1.0.0.43: Upload files opens Media > Images

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 05:06
  • Updated: The dashboard's Upload files button opens the upload page at Media > Images where the user can upload there, else at Media (with ezmultiupload 6.1.8: fetch dashboard_target, ezmultiupload.ini [DashboardSettings] UploadTargetList[]). Without the extension or its module the button keeps the media root.

exp_adminui 1.0.0.42: a readable sign-in button

Choose a tag to compare

@se7enxweb se7enxweb released this 18 Oct 01:01
  • The sign-in button of the Admin UI login page had a white label on light coral (2.6:1). It takes the Admin UI's filled accent (--a4-accent-strong, hovered --a4-accent-press), white on it above 5.5:1, with a focus ring on the dark frame.
  • Nothing has to change in an installation.
