Stability and reliability improvements

Roam Control 0.9.7 is a maintenance update focused on background location-session reliability and mobile-data connectivity.

What's improved

  • Improved native connection handling for LocalDevVPN.
  • Corrected network-interface selection when LocalDevVPN and a separate Personal VPN are active simultaneously.
  • Improved reliability in tested background and mobile-data scenarios.
  • Verified fixed locations, Walking, Driving, Cycling, Stop & Restore and LocalDevVPN reconnection.

These improvements were validated on the developer's iPhone. Compatibility with every VPN configuration is not guaranteed.

No new features, interface changes or pairing implementation changes.

Installation

Requires iOS 27 or later, Developer Mode and LocalDevVPN.

The IPA is unsigned and can be signed using SideStore.

Upgrading directly from 0.9.4? Back up your favourites, history and supported settings before installing. The app identifier changed in 0.9.5, so existing data will not automatically transfer. Pairing must be completed again.
