GTA3Unity 0.1.0

This is the first public release of GTA3Unity.

A legally obtained PC copy of Grand Theft Auto III is required.

What’s Included

  • Explore Liberty City on foot.
  • Play using the police officer pedestrian model.
  • Fully functional third-person movement and camera controls.
  • Partially functional main menu.
  • Runtime loading of the GTA III map and assets.

How to Play

  1. Open GTA3Unity.exe.
  2. Set the GTA III installation path to the folder containing gta3.exe.
  3. Click Launch.
  4. Click FES_SNG on the main menu.
  5. Wait for Liberty City to load. This may take approximately one minute.
  6. Use WASD to move.
  7. Move the mouse to control the camera.

This is an early development release. Bugs, incomplete features, and long loading times should be expected.
