• Loopback only until you allow more: scout_check evaluates localhost and loopback addresses only, until you name more hosts with --allow or SCOUT_MCP_ALLOW. A URL that carries credentials is refused.
• No credentials, no mutations: Every run is scout check --auth none with an empty configuration, so no profile can add credentials or switch on mutating tools, whatever the caller asks.
