Release list
MyClip 0.6.16
MyClip 0.6.16
- Open the correct macOS privacy pane for Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Files & Folders from onboarding. Previously, Screen Recording could open the Accessibility pane on newer macOS versions.
- Make each permission control open its corresponding settings pane even when the permission is already granted. Accessibility also opens its settings pane when macOS no longer shows a request prompt.
Validation
The three routes were checked against System Settings on macOS 27, and the full local test suite passed. GitHub Actions also runs the full test suite for both architectures before publishing.

MyClip 0.6.15
MyClip 0.6.15
- Send the original screenshot to the organizing Agent for every capture trigger. Batches contain up to eight screenshots; OCR remains a local text document and search source, not an Agent input.
- Keep screenshot details focused on the original image and raw OCR. Remove the experimental structured Markdown preview and clean up its old sidecar files when the library opens.
- Improve mouse capture controls and filter screenshots with near-total background coverage. Repair a missing image file when a repeated capture can supply it.
- Refine onboarding, Backstage, task board, report sharing, and library controls.
Validation
Local checks passed: 366 core tests (10 skipped), adapter and packaging tests, 51 benchmark tests, and all seven native application suites. The mouse-capture integration check verifies that the Agent receives an image attachment.

MyClip 0.6.14
MyClip 0.6.14
- Improve Memory recall with paragraph ranking, page aliases and two-hop Wikilink traversal. Search results include concise snippets, source references, event times and the links behind a match.
- Simplify the read-only MCP interface to
memory_searchandmemory_get, replacing the previous memory tools. Read individual sections or line ranges and follow links and backlinks from the returned pages. - Add daily Memory consolidation while idle, including page reviews, recurring patrols and weekly summaries. Dream Now can start a review manually.
- Seed an empty Memory library from supported text documents in Desktop and Documents, subject to macOS folder permissions.
- Add Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French and German interfaces, with language selection during onboarding and Memory output following the selected language.
- Share formatted task reports by copying them and opening a supported destination, including Gmail, Notion, Feishu, Lark, DingTalk, WeCom, WeChat and Slack when available.
- Reorganize application code and tests by responsibility, centralize application prompts in five Swift files under
MyClip/Core/Prompt, and archive inactive Kara sources separately. - Consolidate local and CI checks under
Scripts/test.sh. Package benchmark tools, prompts, tests and reports together while keeping datasets, credentials and generated results local.
Validation
The complete local test command passed: 337 core tests with 9 opt-in tests skipped, adapter and packaging tests, 13 benchmark tests and all 7 native application suites. Refactoring preserved generated prompts and retrieval results for the 199-question comparison, excluding timing measurements.

MyClip 0.6.13
MyClip 0.6.13
- Add Backstage: one page showing which Agent organizes your captures, how the queue is doing, what each batch did and what it cost.
- Keep the library usable when a Memory file is invalid. Files over the 128 KB body cap, empty files and files with broken metadata are skipped and keep their last good index instead of blocking search, MCP and organizing.
- Hand cap problems to the Agent, never to the user. A file the Agent leaves invalid goes back to its previous revision, the batch reruns automatically with the reason in its prompt, and once retries are used up the instruction moves into the next handoff. Pages over 96 KB get a mandatory "organize first, then split" instruction before anything is appended.
- Define a fixed project page structure (overview, current status, confirmed decisions, key background, related records) with one fact per bullet and compact citations; the reader shows 8-character source IDs while files keep full IDs.
- Retry transient Agent failures such as timeouts, dropped connections and overloaded providers automatically with backoff instead of pausing the queue.
- Rank memory search across several queries and expand one hop along Wikilinks; MCP results carry related memories with the passage that links them.
- Record token usage per day with the share served from cache and a like-for-like comparison with the previous period.
- Skip near-duplicate screenshots with a block-level perceptual hash and a short per-window cooldown.
- Launch Agents with the hosting session's environment variables removed, so Claude Code authenticates the way it does in your terminal.
- Add Cursor and OpenCode icons.

MyClip 0.6.12
- Always show Get Started in onboarding. The button stays disabled until Screen Recording and Accessibility are granted and Agent selection finishes. Permission status continues to update automatically.
- Add an eight-second recording of native onboarding to the beginning of the README demo, preserving the existing Memory, Timeline, Kanban, and Reports demonstrations.
- Update the demo descriptions in English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Korean.

MyClip 0.6.11
MyClip 0.6.11
-
Redesign onboarding with native permission controls and default Agent selection beside a dreamcore courtyard oil painting, with light and dark appearances.
-
Detect installed Codex and Claude Code runtimes, including the CLI bundled inside a renamed Codex desktop app. Save the selected default only after connecting successfully; preserve the previous default if connection fails.
-
Keep onboarding open after authorization so users can finish Agent setup before entering the library.
-
Add Reopen Setup Guide in Settings → About MyClip to revisit onboarding without resetting permissions, saved data, or the default Agent.
-
Sign both architecture builds with one persistent, project-only community certificate, with no paid Apple Developer account required. CI pins the certificate and rejects missing or mismatched signing identities. Apply manual signing to the app and Swift Package resource bundles so no Apple development team is required.
-
Show only the release version, such as 0.6.11, in Settings and the native About panel; keep the build number internal.

Requires macOS 13 or later. These are self-signed community builds, not notarized Developer ID distribution builds. macOS may require System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway after the first opening attempt.
This release changes signing identity from older builds. Screen Recording and Accessibility may need one-time reauthorization: if an enabled permission remains unrecognized after restarting, remove only MyClip from the affected list and add /Applications/MyClip.app again. See release signing and permission recovery.

Both packages target macOS 13 or later. The CI packages are ad-hoc signed and are not notarized.
Changes
- Redesign Kanban with independent five-row columns, compact task review, and separate Kanban / Reports tabs.
- Organize daily, weekly, and monthly reports by outline, project, and progress, with editable drafts and copying.
- Add Timeline filters and local screenshot OCR, and improve capture startup and permission handling across macOS versions.
- Fix Memory sidebar file and empty-folder selection on macOS 13; preserve native folder expansion and document scrolling.
- Improve Memory retrieval, organization recovery, agent sessions, token usage, and execution details.
- Make English the default README, with Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Korean translations and a demo recorded from the native app.
- Build separate ARM64 and x86_64 DMGs from version tags, with native tests on both runner architectures before publishing.
- Wait for asynchronous reading-position restoration in native UI tests, with a bounded timeout, so slow CI runners can finish layout before assertions run.

Kara 0.2.4 (6c73a0e)
Automated DMG release for commit 6c73a0e on main.
Kara 0.2.4
Fixes scheduled task Codex timeouts observed on the daily data update task.\n\n- Adds tested scheduled-task execution guardrails so file-based tasks first check only Desktop/Documents/Downloads for today/yesterday Excel/CSV/TSV files and stop quickly when inputs are missing.\n- Avoids broad home-folder scans and spreadsheet/Python workflows before a current source file is confirmed.\n- Preserves the last CLI output on timeout so future failures show where the agent got stuck.\n\nCommand validation: the guarded Codex command completed successfully in 24s and returned a clear missing-data response.\n\nSHA256: f2adca5d9a5664d5be7c8585530fb9f781201ab6f08d6fed1923e78342fe57f7
