Link Existing Transactions as Transfers

You can now mark two transactions you already have (one debit, one credit on different accounts) as a single inter-account transfer. Linked pairs are excluded from spending and income totals so transfers no longer pollute your reports, dashboard, or budgets.

• Bulk-select flow — pick exactly two matching transactions on the Transactions page and click Link as transfer in the bulk action bar
• Single-transaction picker — select just one transaction and the dialog will surface candidate counterparts from your other accounts, ranked by date proximity and amount, so you can match transfers across views without scrolling
• Smart "Best match" badge — only highlights the top candidate when it is genuinely close (within 3 days and 2% of the amount), so it never lies when nothing matches
• Search inside the picker — quickly filter the candidate list by description when you have many transactions in the same window
• Cross-currency aware — works for transfers between accounts in different currencies; an amount-mismatch warning appears when same-currency amounts don't line up
• Cascade-safe — once linked, editing or deleting one side updates both, and the category is cleared automatically since transfers shouldn't be categorized

Unlink Transfers

Made a wrong link? Open either side of the transfer in the edit dialog and click the new Unlink transfer button in the blue transfer banner — both transactions go back to being regular, fully editable entries.
