✨ Features

  • Notify and agents now run on a site's own address, at /hm/api/notify and /hm/api/agents. Self-hosted and enterprise nodes need one hostname for everything, and site nodes can run their own agents.
  • Enterprise nodes render embeds of public documents from other spaces, such as the Agent Guide, and their agents can read public Hypermedia content from mainnet.
  • Enterprise nodes on the dev channel follow main automatically.
  • Mention suggestions work in profile fields.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The desktop sidebar no longer loads every document in the database whenever a space syncs, which made large databases slow.
  • New desktop windows open with the focused window's layout.
  • Comments that arrive before the change they reply to now show up once the change arrives.
  • Citation counts count each citing block, not each citing document.
  • Mention search and the activity poll are faster and more reliable.

Hosted notifications now live at https://hyper.media/hm/api/notify. Update desktop to 2026.10.5 or later; older versions keep working until the old notify address is retired.
