One-click Quest standalone install. Runs Victory Heat Rally natively on Meta Quest 3 / 3S / 2 in full VR. No PC or Link needed while playing.

New in v1.1

  • Hands on the wheel, gloves, sleeves and cockpit colours are all built into the mod. No art files to supply.
  • Outfits and cockpit match every car and paint job (64 paints), with sleeve designs like flames, checkers, lightning bolts, stripes and chevrons.
  • One-click installer: finds your Steam copy automatically and downloads the tools it needs by itself. No Python, no manual setup.

Install

  1. Download VictoryHeatRallyVR-Quest-v1.1.zip below and extract it.
  2. Turn on Developer Mode for your headset (Meta Horizon phone app).
  3. Plug the Quest into your PC, put it on and allow USB debugging (tick "Always allow").
  4. Double-click Install-Quest.bat. The first run takes a few minutes.
  5. In the headset: Library > Unknown Sources > VHR Quest.

Updating from v1.0: just run Install-Quest.bat again. Saves stay on the headset.

Requires your own Steam copy of Victory Heat Rally. No game files are included. The installer builds the app on your PC from your copy. Please don't share the built APK.

First release of the Quest standalone version: Victory Heat Rally running natively on a Meta Quest in full VR, no PC or Link needed while you play.

Features

  • 3D cockpit with head tracking, working dashboard, course map and rear-view mirror
  • 60 fps game on a 120 Hz display, with automatic sharpness that holds the frame rate
  • Fixed foveated rendering and a Lens Fit option tuned for Quest 3 lenses
  • Steering with a grab-the-wheel virtual wheel or the thumbstick
  • Strong controller rumble for crashes, boosts, landings, rumble strips and wall scrapes
  • Cockpit trim, gloves and sleeves colored to match your car, with racing sleeve designs
  • Menus, countdowns, GOAL and the pause menu shown on a floating panel in VR

Install

  1. Download Source code (zip) below and extract it.
  2. Follow the Requirements and Install sections in the README: Python 3, UndertaleModTool CLI, adb, Developer Mode on the headset.
  3. Plug in your Quest and double-click Install-Quest.bat.

Needs your own Steam copy of Victory Heat Rally. No game files are included, and the APK the installer builds is for your own headset only. Please don't share it.

Problems?

Run Get-QuestLog.bat right after the problem and attach the files from the logs folder to a new issue.
