@ngakalden ngakalden released this 20 Jul 12:37

Updated email-copywriting with findings from an AI-agent analysis of 1,200+ campaigns and 8M+ sends across multiple markets.

New guidance:

  • Subject lines: 6 words or fewer — every top-open-rate email met this
  • The "without / even if" hook — [Outcome] + without/even if + [Sacrifice]
  • Outcome-first opening — the first sentence must deliver or promise the core outcome (dollar figures for income markets, transformation metrics for skill markets)
  • Sacred differentiator — define your unique mechanism before writing, use it in every email
  • Kill the #1 objection in every send — present in 90%+ of winners
  • Story-driven emails beat tactical ones on click-through by 2-3x
  • Testimonials need measurable outcomes — 30-50% higher click-through than emotional ones
  • Fear-of-inaction framing converts better than promise of gain
  • Email-to-landing-page congruence — conversion can double from alignment alone
  • No aspirational CTAs — paid-offer CTAs follow price + action + specificity

Also adds a new scenario on differentiating me-too email copy.

Repo tooling in this release:

  • Fixed validate-skills.sh on macOS (GNU-only sed replaced with portable awk)
  • Added .gitignore for .DS_Store and *.bak files
