What's Changed

Deterministic Unreachable type::alt<I>() Diagnostics

This release improves compile-time diagnostics for unreachable variant-alt cases.

  • Added detection for unreachable type::alt<I>(...) cases when an earlier plain type::alt<I>() already covers the same alternative.
  • .when(...) diagnostics are now scoped to the newly added case to avoid cascading repeated errors.
  • cases(...) now performs full-pack unreachable-alt validation for consistent behavior.

Diagnostics Infrastructure Improvements

  • Added internal alt-index analysis for alt patterns (including guarded alt patterns).
  • Unified unreachable-case checks under diagnostics.hpp.

Compatibility

  • No API changes.
  • No runtime behavior changes.
  • Stricter compile-time diagnostics for deterministic unreachable alt ordering.
