What's Changed

A documentation and hygiene release. No behavior changes.

Documentation

  • Agents are no longer told to run a timeout that stock macOS does not ship. The /exec §3 foreground rule, the /verify example, and the #1032 HOOK_BLOCKED message all prescribed timeout N … with no note, so an agent on a machine without GNU coreutils got command not found and either dropped the limit or looped. Every such site now names the coreutils install alongside the portable perl -e 'alarm N; exec @ARGV' fallback that the QA quality-checks script already used. (#1054, #1055)
  • The claude plugin eval early-access environment flag is no longer named in prose. Twenty references across the reference page, the phase-0 investigation, and the graph-2026-09 planning docs spelled out the variable that gates an unannounced feature — including copy-pasteable enable commands, on a docs page that syncs to the public site. The literal is replaced by a placeholder, explained where a reader meets it first. (#1061)

Maintenance

  • Per-stack AGENTS.md snapshots pin the package version, so a release no longer breaks them. (#1056)

Only the first item changes what users receive — it edits templates/skills/ and templates/hooks/, which ship in the package.
