Semwright v1.0.0

@seradotcom seradotcom released this 07 Oct 17:48

Security review status: incomplete. This release is published under an explicit maintainer exception. No independent public-release security approval is claimed.

Semwright connects compatible AI agents to desktop and professional applications through structured operations, native APIs, and governed system interfaces. CLI, MCP, Recipes and application drivers route through the same broker and authorization boundary.

This first stable release includes the core runtime, safe semwright setup onboarding, native application drivers, governed provider federation, persistent driver sessions, and project/workflow tooling. Artifact handoff can request atomic no-replace publication on Linux; unsupported backends refuse that explicit mode. Support and verification remain scoped to the documented integration and environment.

Install

Download the matching bundle and SHA256SUMS, verify the checksum, extract it and run the included installer. Then run the installed semwright setup command for local configuration and the MCP client snippet. Setup does not grant desktop authority or start a background service.

  • Linux: x86_64/aarch64 tar.gz and amd64/arm64 deb.
  • macOS: Intel x86_64 and Apple Silicon arm64 tar.gz.
  • Windows: x86_64 and ARM64 portable zip.

All portable bundles include CLI, daemon, MCP frontend, TUI, sandbox helper, matched checksums and reversible installers. Source builds remain available for contributors.

One prompt. A connected creative workflow.

Watch Semwright update an aircraft’s materials in Blender, render a new camera shot, generate branded titles in Motion Canvas, and assemble the video with audio through MLT—all using Semwright’s drivers.

Watch the 60-second demo.

Recorded in one take using an existing aircraft project. Waiting periods are accelerated; the final playback runs at normal speed. The workflow produces a new video and an editable timeline.

Verification and limits

The release assets include the distribution manifest and SHA256SUMS; the manifest records the six native platform certificates. The MP4 is a separate media asset.

Source commit: 8fa191250ae68274182570c65f067f7a60f85625. Final native distribution: eight packages, six native platform certificates, verified installation/removal and package checksums. Distribution manifest SHA-256: 7ef9766b94a063c1030e6b713dd70c2fd62d277f6996e56ab544a4c95926bc8d.

Exact candidate certification: PASS, 70 successful jobs, all 20 groups successful and all 13 specialized areas exercised on the same source SHA. Independent public-release security review remains incomplete. Publication is authorized by an explicit maintainer exception, not by an independent security approval; see PUBLICATION_EXCEPTION.json.

Hosted platform/package tests do not certify every desktop or application version. Windows interactive desktop certification (R18) and physical Hyprland certification (R06) remain deferred environment-dependent post-v1 work. This release does not claim universal MCP filesystem mounts on Windows, complete coverage of every application API, or formal security proof.

TIDELING 0.1 — Blender → Godot demo

Pre-release

@seradotcom seradotcom released this 28 Sep 19:26
b9bae6e

An original playable 2.5D reef demo and a verified Semwright Blender → Godot pipeline.

Download Tideling-BlueGold-Linux.tar.gz, extract it, and run Tideling-BlueGold/Tideling.x86_64 with Tideling.pck beside it. Linux x86_64 / OpenGL 3.3. No game account or cloud service required.

WASD/arrows or left stick move; Space/A bursts; Enter starts; Esc/Start pauses; M toggles audio; R retries after the ending. Survive three minutes, eat smaller fish and grow through three forms. BlueGold becomes edible at stage two.

The eighth species was constructed through Semwright's real broker and sandboxed Blender driver, exported as GLB, handed to the sandboxed Godot driver, added to spawning and consumed in the exported game. Both its model and species resource were absent from the proof baseline. RECEIPT.json, operations.jsonl, BlueGoldFish.glb and BlueGoldFish.tres provide the evidence.

Source: b9bae6e0abda31b9d1437d44b3631f5f31bfcc3f (merged PR #155).

  • Game acceptance: controls, collision/consumption, lifecycle and a complete 180-second automated run reaching growth stage three.
  • Same-source cross-app proof: clean main checkout, native export, real spawning, animation, stage-one rejection, growth and consumption, repeated against the packaged game.
  • RELEASE.json records completion and limitations. SHA256SUMS.txt covers all attached evidence and the executable archive.

Tideling-preview.mp4 is an offline-rendered, bot-controlled preview from this exported BlueGold game, not a real-time performance benchmark. Original baseline art/audio were authored directly; the BlueGold species demonstrates the Semwright route. Controller inputs were tested synthetically; physical controllers and human playfeel are not certified. The bundle includes the official editor-capable Godot runtime and its license notices.
