Seraph v2026.7.5 is the July 4, 2026 main-backed release for GPU-hosted VLM chat readiness, fast cockpit metadata, screenshot-folder reliability, local Gemma compaction, and the browser workbench journal.

Release gate:

  • develop -> main PR #731 merged after green hosted checks on current head 4ea0126.
  • PR #733 fixed the release-gate ArtifactStoragePanel test race before release.
  • PR #735 aligned backend/frontend/package release metadata to 2026.7.5 before release.

Validation:

  • Release PR #731 backend/frontend checks passed on runs 28697500644 and 28697501872.
  • Local release metadata readback passed.
  • Frontend config tests and production build passed before metadata merge.

Boundary:

  • SSH remains GPU administration only; Seraph runtime traffic uses the documented local backend -> GPU VLM wrapper -> GPU model server HTTP topology.
