v2.1.1
What's New
macOS background behavior
Closing the Sessionwire window on macOS now keeps the app running in the background instead of quitting.
This means you’ll stay connected and reachable after closing the window. To reopen Sessionwire, click the app icon in the Dock.
To fully quit the app, use Cmd+Q or choose Quit from the menu.
Remote control improvements
Remote control sessions now include a new End Control button.
Ending or closing a remote control session now disconnects cleanly for both users.
Stability updates
This release also includes stability improvements and dependency updates.
v2.1.0
macOS Safe Storage Permission Prompt
After this update, existing macOS users may be asked for permission to access Sessionwire Safe Storage.
This is expected. macOS is authorizing Sessionwire to access its Electron/Chromium encrypted local storage, which is protected by the macOS Keychain. New installs should not see this prompt.
What to do:
- Enter your Mac login password
Do not enter your Sessionwire password. - Click Always Allow
You should only see this prompt once.
