Native SDKs 1.3.0: branch on an answer from any earlier screen

This release bundles the native iOS SDK 1.3.0 and Android SDK 1.3.0.

What you get. Your flow can now remember what people answer and use it later. Ask a question on one screen, show a few more screens, and then send people down different paths based on that earlier answer. Until now a split could only look at the screen right before it. Splits that read the screen right before them work exactly as before, and saving an answer as a user attribute works the same way for a split that reads an earlier screen.

Older app versions take the default path. If your app still ships an older version, a split that reads an earlier screen follows its default path. Update before publishing a flow that relies on it.

No changes to the Flutter API in this release. Details and the smaller fixes are in the native release notes: iOS 1.3.0 and Android 1.3.0.

1.2.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 07 Sep 16:18

Wraps the iOS and Android SDKs 1.2.0: popup screens, smarter permission primers, and a call to action that stays where you put it.

Popup screens. A screen can present as a centered card over a dimmed background, sized to its content. Good for short prompts and confirmations that should not take over the display.

Sheets and popups stay in the flow. A sheet or popup mid-flow now sits over the previous screen of the same flow instead of revealing your app underneath.

Three more permission actions. Buttons can request tracking, microphone, and photo library access, alongside notifications, location, and camera. App Tracking Transparency is iOS only; on Android that action resolves as not required and the flow moves on.

Primers that skip themselves. A permission screen can be set to skip automatically when the user has already granted that permission, so returning users do not see it again.

The button stays at the bottom. On a fit-screen layout the trailing button block is pinned, and long content scrolls above it rather than pushing it off screen.

Data from your own API. Screens can render live data from an endpoint you register, resolved as the screen appears.

API change

PermissionType gains tracking, microphone and photoLibrary. These events were previously reported as notification, so a switch over the enum will need the new cases.

1.1.2

@github-actions github-actions released this 22 Aug 21:29

Native flows, now in motion

This release bundles the 1.1.2 native SDKs, which bring motion to your flows. Screens can now animate in, elements can breathe, and buttons respond to touch, all authored in the Setgreet editor with no changes to your Flutter code.

What the native upgrade brings

Screen transitions. Move between screens with a fade, a horizontal slide, or a slide-up sheet, each with its own duration and easing. Slide is direction-aware, so going back mirrors going forward. Screens you do not configure keep the instant swap they have always had.

Living components. Give any element a gentle float or a pulse to draw the eye where it belongs. Loops run alongside entrance animations rather than fighting them, and start only once the element has settled.

Buttons that answer back. Press feedback gives every tap the subtle scale-down users expect from a native control.

Auto-advance. Timed screens move on by themselves, so loading states and personalization moments no longer need a button just to escape.

Searchable quiz options turn long lists into something usable, and scrollable containers let one region scroll while the rest of the screen stays put.

All motion respects the platform accessibility setting: Reduce Motion on iOS, animator duration scale on Android.
