The project anticipates at least one more team member, and three living
documents promised "one maintainer" β a sentence that would start lying the
day someone joins. SECURITY.md, CONTRIBUTING.md and CLAUDE.md now say
"deliberately small team", which stays true on both sides of that day.
The constitution's Β§5 is deliberately untouched. Its wording is role-based
("the maintainer") and still holds; the real amendment β who reviews, who
may merge β depends on the member's actual role, and is the maintainer's to
write when that person exists rather than guessed at now.
Records (changelogs, RFC amendment texts) keep their historical wording:
they describe the project as it was, which is their job.

Summary
Three living documents promised "one maintainer" β wording that would start lying the day the anticipated team member joins.
SECURITY.md,CONTRIBUTING.mdandCLAUDE.mdnow say "deliberately small team". The constitution's Β§5 is deliberately untouched: its role-based wording still holds, and the real amendment (who reviews, who may merge) waits for the member's actual role β the maintainer's pen, not this PR's.Which pillar does this serve?
None β documentation toil. Records (changelogs, RFC amendments) keep their historical wording; only forward-looking guidance changed.
