A fourth fix, Modern Warfare 2, and a new tool that graphs what the console is doing while it does it.

• Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer showing level 1 and keeping nothing, on any PSN account made after late 2018. It is the same identity fault as Black Ops and the fix goes the other way about it: the identity the server holds you under is in the reply the game reads when it signs in, so the fix takes that rather than working one out. An account that already works is handed the identity it already had
• That fix is built from work by Jakes625, with his permission, and this program's own build of it comes out byte for byte the same as his. His releases carry a good deal more than the stats fix and none of the rest of it is here
• Monitor, a new tool. It reads the console's status page every few seconds while it is open and graphs the temperatures, the fan and the free space over time. Everywhere else in this program reads the console once; this is for the questions only a trend answers, such as whether a fan that climbed during an hour of play ever came back down
• Monitor reads only while it is the screen in front of you, unless you tick the box that keeps it going, and only the one page the diagnostic already reads. Nothing is written anywhere unless you press Save, which writes the readings as a CSV to your Desktop
• A console that stops answering leaves a break in the line rather than a straight line across the gap, and the footer counts how many readings went unanswered
• Under the temperatures is a band saying which game the console had loaded, so a climb and the launch that caused it are the same moment on the page
• Open readings loads a saved CSV back and graphs it with no console present, so somebody can send you their afternoon
• The home screen is two sections now. The four game fixes sit together, and everything else is under Console tools

Files for PS3HEN are now built properly rather than nearly.

• A file signed for PS3HEN has its loaded sections compressed. That was taken for a choice the tool that built them happened to make, and it is not: a patch with everything else right went on to a HEN console cleanly and the console black screened the moment the patched binary loaded. Surveyed across twenty-eight paired builds, every HEN one compresses and every custom firmware one does not, with no exceptions
• The section table is now built from the program itself rather than copied. A file built from a custom firmware original was inheriting its section list, which is shorter, so three of the parts the console loads were missing from the file
• A file for PS3HEN is now genuinely signed. The 3.55 keyset is the newest one with a usable private key, which is why PS3HEN wants files built against it, and until now the signature field was carried over from the original rather than made
• Nothing changes for a custom firmware console, which follows the file it started from section by section as before

The three patch screens are the same screen now, and the program checks the game is not running before it starts.

• Black Ops 1, Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 3 can be fixed on a console running PS3HEN. A HEN console wants a file signed against the 3.55 keyset, and the program signs for the firmware it finds rather than assuming
• The console keeps hold of a game's code once it has loaded it, so patching a game that has been played since the console was switched on does nothing at all, and closing the game is not enough. The screen says so before it does anything, and a game the console still has loaded is refused
• Every patch screen asks for a full power cycle once a patch or a restore has finished, in one place rather than two panels that could both appear
• Each screen now says one line about what the fix does, keeps any warning that changes what you should do, and puts the rest behind More about this fix
• The three patch screens look the same as each other. Where they differ it is because the fix differs

The program does its own decrypting and re-signing now, and signs for the firmware your console is running.

• No more scetool. The decrypting, re-signing and fake signing are this program's own, written in Python, so there is no separate program to find and nothing for antivirus to object to
• Digital releases patch the same way disc ones do. The cards no longer say otherwise
• The program reads which firmware your console is running and signs for it. A HEN console gets the file re-signed against the 3.55-era keyset; a custom firmware console keeps its own key revision as before
• A patch screen only ever offers releases of the game it fixes. The Black Ops 1 screen was offering Ghosts, and then Modern Warfare 2, to somebody who had Black Ops 1 installed
• A release this program has not been tested on is offered with a warning rather than refused, and where no copy is found the folder can be typed in
• Black Ops 1 knows eleven releases rather than four. Europe was issued as six discs, one per language group, and only one was recognised
• Every file is checked for being the binary it claims to be before anything is written to it, which catches a mod menu's binary sitting where EBOOT.BIN should be
• Modern Warfare 3 recognises the American build, and its card no longer says it is failing on HEN

HEN signing is new and has not been watched working on a HEN console yet. Keep the backup.

• The Black Ops 1 fix said no account on the console had an np_cache.dat when the file was sitting there. It was being thrown away because the PSN name inside it would not read, and that name is only used for the label on the account chooser. The fix needs the account ID and nothing else
• When the file cannot be read, the app now says so and why, naming the file, rather than saying it is not there. Being told to sign in to PSN again when you already have is no help to anybody
• Opening a patch screen with no console selected no longer starts looking for game files and hangs. It waits until a PlayStation 3 address is set
• Modern Warfare 3 on the American disc is recognised. Two consoles report the same size for it, so it is a stock build rather than an unknown one, and the app no longer says it cannot tell
• Diagnostics records the account folders on the console. Names and sizes only, and np_cache.dat is never opened, so no account ID or PSN name goes into a dump

• If more than one supported release of a game is on the console, you are asked which one to patch before anything is read. Nothing is picked for you, the others are left exactly as they are, and the release that was worked on is named on screen either way
• The account question lists PSN online IDs rather than folder numbers, most recently used first, and does not ask at all when only one account can be read
• An account whose name cannot be read is still listed, as its folder number
• Black Ops 1 on the American disc, BLUS30591, is confirmed working on hardware
• EBOOT.BIN reads as not affected on the Black Ops 1 screen rather than being listed as something to fix

• Black Ops 1 reads the folder it looks for np_cache.dat in out of the game's own content ID. It used to be told the folder name, which is right on the European disc and wrong on the American and digital ones, so the fix opened a path that was not there, quietly did nothing, and still reported as applied
• If you applied 1.3.0 to the American disc or the digital release, the fix on your console does nothing. Run it again on 1.3.1 and it will be rebuilt correctly
• A title that does not read as four letters and five digits is refused with a reason rather than written into a path
• The copy of np_cache.dat the app places and the path the fix opens are built by the same function, so they cannot come out different
• The Black Ops 1 screen says to leave the fix alone unless your rank actually resets. Accounts made before late 2018 already work, and this fix would hand one of those an identity the server does not hold. Apply stays off until you confirm you are seeing resets

Black Ops 1 multiplayer stats now save

Black Ops 1 has reset players to rank 1 since 2018. The cause is that the game
works out who you are by hashing your PSN online ID, while Demonware works it out
from your account ID for anything created after Sony changed things that year.
The two never agree, so every stats lookup asks for a player the server has never
heard of. The fix makes the game ask the right question.

Rank and experience now survive backing out of a lobby, re-entering, quitting the
game and restarting the console. Marked beta because it has been tested on one
console.

• New Black Ops 1 card, replacing the placeholder
• Larger titles on the three game fix cards
• Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 3 cards now say digital releases are not
  supported yet, and Modern Warfare 3 notes the HEN reports
• EBOOT.BIN reads as not affected rather than not recognised on the Black Ops 1
  screen

• The console is read once and answered the same way on every screen. One walk covers what is installed, what is a disc image and what is waiting in the packages folder
• The digital release of Black Ops II is recognised, so a console that plays that copy is patched rather than being told its title update has not been downloaded
• A title folder holding a licence and no game is left out of the installed list, so no update is offered for a game that is not there
• Transfer games names the games already on the console above the list, and shows the queue with and without them
• A disc image of a game the console already has arrives unticked. Tick it if you want the image as well
• The box before a copy describes the files that are going and leaves out anything already decided against
• A row you untick stays unticked when the console is read again, and a package you untick stays unticked when another file is added
• A file the patchers do not recognise now says where else to try, with a link to the manual sequence that can still do it
• The Black Ops II advice says what is left to do when some of the files are already fixed
• Every file of a title fits in the table on the patch screens
• New card for the Black Ops 1 stats fix, marked as under development, with a link to the Discord
• The scan progress counter no longer runs past its own total
• Several Call of Duty installations this tool does not patch are named in one line rather than one line each
• Closing the window ends the program. It used to leave it running with nothing on screen
