Highlights

  • Adds pii_detection.detector_timeout to configure the timeout for each detector /analyze request.
  • Keeps the default detector timeout at 30 seconds.
  • Supports detector_timeout: 0 to disable the detector request timeout.
  • Exposes the configured detector timeout in /info and documents DETECTOR_TIMEOUT in the example config and installation docs.

Upgrade Notes

  • No config changes are required for existing deployments.
  • For very large OpenWebUI messages or summaries that need longer detector processing, set for example:

  detector_timeout: 300
